Brothers Naithon and Kris Cook perform as Holistic Meditation and Emcee Monkey D—the independent Idaho hip-hop duo Freedom Renegades.
Their music pairs consciousness and uplift with hard drums, freestyle discipline, and an old-school lyrical edge. Their 2023 album Hidden Treasure brings both emcees together across eleven tracks.
At Axysyn, the collaboration runs through the whole game: both brothers are fully voiced playable fighters, and four Freedom Renegades tracks soundtrack the Pirate Ship and Temple stages.
